Thank you for your interest in joining the Friends of Lake Oswego Public Library. Your membership enables us to fund enriching library programs and services, as well as to sponsor library events. Programs include Books for Babies, musical performances, guest speakers, the annual Lake Oswego Reads, cultural events, summer events and library challenge, Trivia night, multi-lingual programs for youth and families, just to name a few. Additional donation amounts included in the HUGO, EDGAR, NEBULA, PEN/Bellwether, PEN/Faulkner, and PULITZER membership levels help the Friends to provide ongoing grants to our Library for author events, music, and children’s programming. These donations also help the Friends build capital for a future Library. All contributions to the Friends of the Lake Oswego Public Library, a public benefit corporation, qualify as tax-deductible contributions. Federal Tax ID: 51-0175514 Did you know when you contribute to the Friends of the Lake Oswego Public Library you become eligible to participate in the Oregon’s Cultural Tax Credit? Donors who contribute to Oregon cultural nonprofits, including ours, are eligible to make a matching donation to the Oregon Cultural Trust and receive a 100% tax credit for their Trust donation (up to $500 for an individual, $1000 for a couple filing jointly and $2500 for a Class-C Corporation).
